The Dandelion Hive centers LGBTQIA+ individuals at all intersections of identities. The transgender and gender non-conforming part of our community have dealt with challenges and traumas at the hands of binary gender norms. We center people who identify as transgender and/or non-binary in our recovery housing by operating a transgender & gender non-conforming specific recovery house and by providing as much information as we can on gender-affirming care.

Gender-affirming care is a variety of assistance that supports individuals through their transition into their true gender identity.
