Voices of Recovery
It is important to uplift and center voices from the LGBTQIA+ community in recovery. The LGBTQIA+ community is still not accurately represented in national statistics and efforts around substance usage and recovery. We also want everyone to be able to connect with the heart and soul of what we do - serve our community who live and/or work in these spaces.

† In memory of Alexis Piero, who passed away in November 2023. We will hold her stories here so that she may continue to help the community she was a part of and served.

“The Dandelion Hive has let me be me and helped me discover myself through support I didn’t know I needed.”
“This house helped me find stability amongst the trans community. Having a safe place with my community helps me focus on the things I need to focus on without worrying about feeling safe in my recovery.”
“This house gives me a safe and supportive environment to work on myself and my recovery. I can continue to understand myself as a queer individual and a newly sober person without judgment - and it’s incredibly freeing. It’s also very comforting to be in an environment where you’re accepted for who you are and how you are.”
